Thin moves, quick,
But slows in ascent. The
Bodies loosen –
They’re falling back. A
Hop, skip, float –
Encapsulated, sheathed full
White with glare to spare.
As planets move, a
Tug aligns no more,
Spun out across your
Visor – double-hulled to
Take the heat, absorb the
Sun that will not
Glow for what seems days.
Now black, off black,
Deep gray and shadow
Appear both near and
Far away, among the
Craters, rocks, and
Boulders on the
New dark side of
